BCB/GMB Friday Seminar Series: Benjamin Callahan

The GMB Friday Seminar Series welcomes Benjamin Callahan, Assistant Professor of Microbiomes and Complex Microbial Communities, Department of Population Health and Pathobiology, and the Bioinformatics Research Center at NC State University, College of Veterinary Medicine on Friday, January 25, 2019. Dr. Callahan’s talk title is “Recent progress towards accurate and reproducible sequencing-based measurements of microbial communities”. Dr. Callahan is hosted by Terry Furey, Associate Professor of Genetics and Biology and Mike Love, Assistant Professor of Genetics & Biostatistics. This talk is co-sponsored by the UNC Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Curriculum.  This talk will be held in UNC’s Bioinformatics Building in room 1131.
