Bioinformatics and Computational Biology graduate student JP Flores (Doug Phanstiel Lab) received a Fulbright Scholar Award to conduct research in the lab of Dr. Michele Gabriele at the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-Tiget) in Milan, Italy from October 2026 to February 2027. After this, he will be using his four years of postdoctoral funding from his HHMI Gilliam PhD-Postdoc Fellowship to work with Dr. Marissa Scavuzzo at Case Western Reserve University.
